Dub Launches Top Creator Program On Its US-based Copy-trading Platform

Dub has introduced a new initiative called the Top Creator Program, which allows experienced investors and portfolio managers to share their strategies with others while earning royalties.
By creating model portfolios, these “Top Creators” can showcase their expertise and make their insights available to retail investors who can replicate their trades with a single tap.
The U.S.-based copy-trading platform, which operates under the oversight of a registered investment advisor, bridges the gap between retail investors and strategies typically reserved for institutional clients or high-net-worth individuals. Through the Top Creator Program, retail investors can follow and copy portfolios crafted by seasoned traders, benefiting from their expertise without requiring deep market knowledge or significant capital.
“Supporting the next generation of talent in and outside of Wall Street”
Steven Wang, CEO and founder of Dub, said: “For too long, the secrets of dynamic investing strategies offered by hedge funds have been exclusive to the ultra-wealthy, who can afford to meet multi-million-dollar minimum investment requirements. We’re unlocking American wealth creation by enabling the copying of these ‘insider’s’ trades automatically, and with the launch of our Creator Program, supporting the next generation of talent in and outside of Wall Street,” he said.
The rise of retail investing platforms has brought millions of new participants into the market. According to Deloitte, more than six million Americans downloaded retail brokerage apps in January 2021 alone, a trend accelerated by the pandemic and an increased interest in financial independence. Yet, retail traders have often faced challenges, with Vanda Research reporting that in 2022, these traders collectively suffered $350 billion in portfolio losses. Dub aims to address this gap by offering a simplified and informed approach to investing.
Once accepted into the program, Top Creators can build model portfolios that are publicly available on the Dub platform. Retail investors can choose to follow these portfolios and automatically replicate trades made by the creators. This process provides a transparent way to invest, with users retaining full control over their portfolios while benefiting from the expertise of experienced professionals.
Wang explained the motivation behind the program, stating, “This is a turning point for retail investors. We’re empowering everyday people to showcase their skills and learn about markets through a real experience. By leveling the playing field, we’re proving that great investing isn’t just for the insiders.”
Dub has already attracted a user base of over 700,000, and the launch of the Top Creator Program is expected to bring even more visibility to the platform. Retail investors, drawn to the opportunity to learn from successful traders, can now access strategies that were once out of reach.
